Project Giving, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. It was birthed from love by Lance and Toni Henson Slade in 1997. Toni is a former elementary school teacher who is now a stay-at-home-mom. Lance is a pediatrician in Macon, Georgia. Together, they decided to combine their hearts and multiply their efforts to "build bridges of hope" for hurting people in their community.
Project Giving began many years ago in Toni's personal elementary school classroom as a simple extension of compassion for her students and their desperate plight. It has now become an outreach project throughout the state of Georgia exercised by various businesses, organizations, church affiliations, families, and individuals.
Organizational History

Over the years, Project Giving has helped thousands of families by "building bridges of hope" for wounded souls during desperate times. With the love of Christ surrounding every deed, these are just some of the ways in which Project Giving has and will continue to "bridge hearts with hope" throughout the state of Georgia:
- Raising money for specific families in medical crisis
- Providing mortgage, utility, car payments, etc.
- Collecting and dispersing essential items for practical living (furniture of all descriptions, bedding, diapers, clothing, food, etc., etc., etc.)
- Developing partnerships between the "hopeless" and the "hopeful" members of our community
