Family Christmas Adoption Project

During the Christmas season, Project Giving utilizes our educational system via teachers, counselors, and principals to determine the families within their schools who are most in need. This is what makes this branch of our Project Giving Organization so unique:  WE FIND OUR FAMILIES IN NEED! After selecting families whose needs are genuine, we partner them with businesses, organizations, church affiliations, families, and individuals who "adopt" them for Christmas. (Of course, if desired, the adoption partnership could continue throughout the year!)

If you are looking for a beautiful manner in which to exercise your compassions during the holidays, the Family Christmas Adoption Project is a marvelous way to demonstrate the Spirit of Christmas with those who are truly in need. Many families appreciate the opportunity to be part of Project Giving's Family Christmas Adoption Project in order for their [personal] children to witness the true meaning of Christmas... loving, serving, and blessing others.

Details About Adopting A Family:

  • As the adopter, you will receive a "Family Needs Form" pertaining to your specific family (or families). The form consists of clothing size, shoe size, a "wish list," the family's names, ages, sexes, and contact information.

  • Project Giving does not set specific financial or other binding obligations for the adopter in the adoption process. Each adopter is free to use whatever discretion deemed appropriate. The items listed by the family on the "Family Needs Form" are not mandatory purchases, but merely items of desire. Although purchasing gifts for the parent(s) or caregiver(s) is not mandatory, it would be a kind gesture, if possible, to spread a bit of "tangible Christmas joy" with them!

  • GIFT WRAPPING: If you choose to deliver your gifts to your adopted family (or families), you are free to make the decision pertaining to gift wrapping your items. If you choose for Project Giving to deliver your gifts to your adopted family (or families), it would be greatly appreciated if you would, please, gift wrap your items and label each gift with the individual's name. (If you do not have the opportunity to gift wrap your presents, if you will let us know in advance, we will gladly gift wrap them for you!)

  • If you choose for Project Giving to deliver your gifts to your adopted family, your gifts need to be submitted to us by December 21. We will contact you to make the drop-off arrangements for your gifts. THANKS!

  • Project Giving does not require a report of any kind per your interactions with your adopted family, but we would LOVE for you to share your touching and inspiring stories with us!!
